Root Sofa Table is a walnut tree root that has been cut and formed to the shape by nature and the designer.  The wood has been finished with tung oil and a 48" X 18" glass top is placed on it.  The root is driftwood floating in Raccoon Lake.   The texture of woods surface has been created by aquatic life eating away the bark and outer surface of the root.
